Mary Joyce Cole-Allen

Mary Joyce Cole-Allen, 67, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007. She was born on June 23, 1940 in Cordele, GA to parents, James and Mary Perry. Mrs. Cole-Allen had worked as a loan officer in the banking business as well as being a volunteer for 10 years at St. Luke’s Hospital in the surgery-waiting unit. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2134 and was a member of Harvest Ministries Church where she was a part of the Ladies’ Auxiliary. Mrs. Cole-Allen loved to read catalogs and magazines and dearly loved her family and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Angela Cole Beachy and is survived by her loving husband of 7 ½ years, Norman O. Allen; children, Deborah Cole Arnold, Wendy Cole and Brian Cole (Kim); son-in-law, Phil Beachy; brothers, Charles Perry, Harry Perry (Shirley) and Albernard Perry (Elaine); sister, Sara Faye Arnold (Charlie); grandchildren, James Markum, Chris Markum, Amanda Beachy, Cameron Cole and Katie Cole and great-grandchildren, Brandon Markum, Kaleigh Markum, Nicholas Markum and Christian Markum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Harvest Ministries Church, 2550 Fouraker Rd., Jacksonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Harvest Ministries Church with Pastor Bascom Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
