Barbara "Barbie" Marie Mellette-Watson

Barbara “Barbie” Marie Mellette-Watson, 44, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away in a tragic accident on Monday, March 12, 2012. She was born on January 9, 1968 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Robert C. and Nancy R. Mellette, Jr.. Barbie was a faithful servant of God who attended Congregational Holiness Church in Green Cove Springs, FL. She enjoyed selling Avon and meeting new people. Barbie was a very kind and loving person who treasured the smallest things in life. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Barbie is survived by her husband, Loy V. Watson, Jr.; children, Justin Lee Mellette, Cassandra Marie Gillyard and Joshua Allen Morris; brother; Robert “Stormy” Mellette, III (Andrea), and one granddaughter on the way, Valerie Marie Jeannine Mellette. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday March 16, 2012 at Congregational Holiness Church with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
