William "Bill" G. Tucker

William “Bill” G. Tucker, 83, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He was born on September 8, 1928 in Columbus, OH to parents Lawrence and Ardis Tucker. He had been a sheet metal worker and was of the Baptist faith. Bill enjoyed fishing, painting and woodworking and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Sally A. Tucker; sister, Jenna Elam (Joseph) and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Bill Clayton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Haven Hospice at www.havenhospice.org.
