Anna Lee Francis Craig

Anna Lee Francis Craig, 79, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. She was born on November 18, 1932 in Draper, NC to parents Lee and Nora Francis. Mrs. Craig had worked as a clerk for the Clay County Property Appraisers office and had lived in the local area since 1958, moving from Draper, NC. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Harbor Baptist Church. Mrs. Craig will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her daughter, Nadine Patrice Lang and step-son, Aaron W. Craig. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Craig; sons, Kenneth Carter of Middleburg, FL, Dean Carter (Darlene) of Riverview, FL, David Lee Carter (Brenda) of Middleburg, FL; step-sons, Michael Craig (Gail) of Piedmont, SC and Melvin S. Craig (Gail) of Kings Mountain, NC; sisters, Hazel Squires of Eden, NC and Vera Cherry of Aiken, SC; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, April 16, 2012 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Harbor Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Jewell officiating. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
