Harold R. Dixon

Harold R. Dixon, 56, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012. He was born on December 27, 1955 in Del Rio, TX to Cecil and Ellen Dixon, Sr. Harold worked in construction and enjoyed playing guitar, drawing and working in the garden. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil L. Dixon, Sr. and is survived by his mother, Ellen Dixon; brothers, Alfred Dixon, Bobby Dixon, Curtis Dixon and Cecil Dixon, Jr,; sisters, Diane Waters, Debbie Krage and Mary Prond and 15 nieces and nephews. A Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with visitation following until 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island with Fr. Donal Sullivan as celebrant.
