Otella Angel, 81, Orange Park, Florida, died Sunday May 27, 2012, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Otella was born December 27, 1930 in Harrisburg, Illinois, the daughter of the late James and Lillie Duncan.
She was a homemaker and pastor's wife for over 40 years. In addition to being Missionaries in Venezuela, Otella and her husband, the late Wayne Angel, started many churches throughout the Midwest and Florida. Otella's passion was in music and children's ministry where she could always be seen combining the two and teaching children about the Lord while singing of God's blessings.
In addition to her parents and husband, Otella was preceded in death by her two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her two sons, Wayne "Buddy" Angel, Orange Park, FL., Tom Angel and wife, Connie, Orange Park, FL.; two grandchildren, Amy Sherman and husband, Matt,
Middleburg, FL., T.J. Angel and wife, Sydney, Neosho, MO; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Angel was interred in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
