Geoffrey C. Walker

Geoffrey C. Walker, 62, of Atlantic Beach, FL, passed away Friday, October 5, 2007. He was born on February 22, 1945 in Orange, NJ to parents, George and Charlotte Walker. He served his country in the United States Air Force and worked most of his life as a security guard in New Bern, NC and most recently at Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach, FL. Mr. Walker also worked at the Bell Labs in New Jersey, the FBI in Newark, NJ and Wallace Business Forms. He enjoyed horses, country music and playing guitar. Mr. Walker will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his daughters, Suzanne Givens (Neil) and Kimberley Hoskins (Robert); brother, Harold Walker (Nancy); sisters, Valerie Flemming (Jef) and Judy Williamson (Mike) and 5 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 8, 2007 in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home with Dr. Tim McDaniel, Community Hospice Chaplain, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
