Nellie Marie Van Sickle

Nellie Marie Van Sickle, 92, of Penney Farms, FL passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012. She was born on January 2, 1920 in Nicholasville, KY to parents Thomas and Nellie (Hill) Cook. Mrs. Van Sickle moved to the local area 23 years ago from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Nellie was of the Methodist faith and was a loyal and faithful Minister’s wife. In her spare time she made stain glass and taught it to others. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and great grandmother. Nellie is preceded in death by both of her parents and sisters; Amanda and Ruth Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Lee Roy Van Sickle; daughter, Camilla Ann Van Sickle; sons, Jan Thomas Van Sickle (Robin) and George G. Van Sickle (Kate) and 4 grandchildren.
