Frank E. Murphey

Frank E. Murphey, 69, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. He was born on November 17, 1942 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Frank and Alice Murphey. He owned and operated the Middleburg Bait & Tackle Shop and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Murphey was an avid hunter and was a member of the NW Turkey Federation and the New River Hunting Club and he thought of them like a second family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Murphey and is survived by his son, Lloyd Murphey; daughter, Angel Rock (Robert); brother, Charles Ralph Murphey; sisters, Lillie Pearl Murphey and Shirley Ann Murphey and grandchildren, Kyle Murphey, Robert Rock III, Tanner Lance Rock and Elaina Jean Rock. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Surrency and Rev. Bobby Register officiating.
