Mary Octavian Damon

Mary Octavian Damon, 96, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012. She was born on July 27, 1915 in Corydon, IN to parents C. Edward and Katherine (Plue) Thomas. Mary moved to the local area 25 years ago from New Albany, IN. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting. Her family also describes her as a great cook. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents and brothers; sons, Richard and Charles Damon. She is survived by sons; William Damon (Pauline) and Thomas Damon; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
