Elberta Elizabeth Kiser, 91, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away July 28, 2012. She was born on January 24, 1921 in Chicago, IL to the late Herbert M. and Bertha E. (Pelke) Rawlings. She was predeceased by her husband Jay R. Kiser in 2006; her brother and sister in-law, Herbert L. and Maggie Rawlings; her brother-in-law, Charles Shanklin and her son-in-law, Danny L. Crain, Sr. Survivors include her daughters, Carole Vance of Denver, CO, Susan C. Crain of Tucson, AZ, Patricia E. Wakefield of Phoenix, AZ and Beverly Askeland and her husband, Frank, of Green Cove Springs, FL; sisters, Libbie Gradolph and her husband, Jack, and Bernice Shanklin, all of Niceville, FL; grandchildren, Danny Crain Jr and his wife, Lydia, Bryon Crain and his wife, Stephanie, Aaron Askeland and Nicole Askeland; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Sydney, Trevor and Danielle Crain; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Chaplain Jess McCrosky officiating.
