Beverley S. Johnston

Beverley S. Johnston, 74, of Penney Farms, FL, passed away Friday, October 19, 2007. She was born on September 16, 1933 in Waterbury, CT to parents, Mulford B. and Lois Simonson. She was a retired teacher with the Ft. Lauderdale School System and moved to Penney Retirement Community from Ft. Lauderdale on September 22, 1996. Mrs. Johnston was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed music, serious drama and science fiction movies, books and collecting penguins. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her son, Jason Johnston of Milford, VA and her sister, Verna Lindemood (O. Rex) of Penney Farms, FL. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Penney Memorial Church with Reverend O. Rex Lindemood officiating. Following cremation, her ashes will be interred at Penney Retirement Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Penney Retirement Community, P.O.
