Carolyn E. Marton

Carolyn E. Marton, 89, of Green Cove Springs, FL, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2012. She was born on June 4, 1923 in Weston, CT to parents Alexander and Julianna Marton. Ms. Marton was a Christian woman and a member of First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs. She loved to read, especially her Bible and she will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Julia, Elizabeth, Ida, Alex, Jr., Joseph, Louis, Eleanor, Johnny and Julius. Ms. Marton is survived by her brother, Robert Marton (Bette) of KY and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs with Pastor Sam Castano officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
