Bessie Ola Fountain

Bessie O. Fountain, 79, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012. She was born on May 10, 1933 in Montgomery County, TN to parents Hershel and Mary Baggett. She had lived in the local area since 1969, moving here from West Virginia. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and loved gardening, cooking, growing roses, birds, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Franklin L. Fountain. Survivors include her sons, Ralph W. Tolley (Debbie) and Cody L. Fountain; daughters, Sarah J. Zavakos (George) and Patricia E. Foley-Calma (George); sister, Frances L. Self (Billy); grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Melody, Gene and Carrie; great-grandchildren, Tasia, Barrett, Thomas, Tiffany, Carlon, Kristi, Daniel and Laney and great-great grandchildren, Kirin and Juanes. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Louie Doan and John Householder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in her name may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Food Bank.
