Karen Elizabeth Scott

Karen Elizabeth Scott, 55, went home to be with our Lord on September 21, 2012. Karen was born on June 18, 1957, to parents Andrew Hoch Sr. and Jacqueline Hoch. Along with her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jeffrey Scott, her step-daughter Tammy Scott Cobb, as well as her brother, Robert Scott Hoch. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, great-nephews, and a great-niece. She is predeceased by her brother, Andrew Hoch Jr. Karen was a graduate of Nathan B. Forrest High School and a dedicated employee of the Navy Exchange Tailor Shop, where she retired after 27 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and puzzles. Spending time with her family and her dogs was her favorite past-time. Karen was especially close to her Aunt Sandy Johns, who was a great source of comfort and support in her life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11am at 103rd Street Baptist Church, 8819 103rd St., Jax, FL 32210, with Pastor James Turner officiating.
