Jodi L. Adams Hakes

Jodi L. Adams Hakes, 37, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. She was born on August 21, 1975 in Piqua, OH to parents Herman and Patricia Adams. Jodi had been attending nursing school in hopes of becoming a nurse. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and by her husband Brian Hakes. Survivors include her mother Patricia Adams; children, Jacob Scott Thigpen, Brandon Michael Hakes and Brianna Hakes; brothers, Tim Smith, Dale and Tyler Adams; sister, Kim Smith; uncle, Joe Carter; aunts, Jean Dunnmon and Bobbie Lowder and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
