Sharon Knudson

Sharon Knudson, 47, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007. She was born July 4, 1960 in Omaha, NE to parents, Walter and Sheila Neneman. Sharon was a 1978 graduate of Valley High School in West Des Moines, IA and received her Dental Hygienist degree from D.M.A.C.C. in Des Moines, IA. Sharon had lived in the Fleming Island area for the past 15 years and was a dental hygienist for Dr. Dayn Boitet for 13 years. Sharon thoroughly enjoyed her profession and was continually reading and studying to further her career. In October of this year, she received the honor of being the Clay County Dental Hygienist of the Year for 2007. Sharon was a longstanding member of the P.E.O. and loved her family and spending time with her children as well as gardening, reading and was known to be a gourmet cook. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her mother, Sheila Neneman; husband of 21 ½ years, Jeffrey Knudson; daughters, Sarah, Abigail and Brooke Knudson; brother, Mark Neneman; sister, Ann Monachino; 2 nieces and a nephew. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:30 pm on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Christ's Church, 5900 Hwy. 17 South, Fleming Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to your local VyStar Credit Union.
