Betty J. Altenbaumer, 86, of Centralia, IL and Orange Park, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007. She was born on April 14, 1921 in Akron, OH to parents, Harry and Hanna Ott. Mrs. Altenbaumer was a homemaker and had worked as an electrician during the construction of the B-24 aircraft during World War II. She was a member of United Church of Christ Zion in Centralia, IL and will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Mrs. Altenbaumer was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister and her first husband and is survived by her husband, Clarence “Sonny” Altenbaumer of Centralia, IL; sons, Rick C. Farver (Sharon) of Orange Park, FL and Mark C. Farver (Theresa) of Hendersonville, NC; daughter, Diane F. Crawford (Jerry) of Denver, CO; brother, Norman Ott of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Donna Gsellman (Gene) of Tallmadge, OH; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services and interment will take place in Centralia, IL.
