Joseph Charles Wilhelm, Sr.

Joseph Charles Wilhelm, Sr., 70, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012. He was born on December 26, 1941 in Trenton, NJ to parents Charles and Marion See Wilhelm. Mr. Wilhelm was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving his country in the United States Army and had worked as a police officer in Princeton Borough, NJ. He was a member of the PBA and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching NASCAR. Mr. Wilhelm had lived in the local area since 1994 and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Judy Mae Wilhelm. Survivors include his children, Dana Jo Wilhelm and Joseph Charles Wilhelm, Jr.; sister, Linda Sisz and grandchildren, Olivia and Brody Klingler. The memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Chaplain Jess McCrosky officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
