Morris E. Ellison, Sr.

Morris E. Ellison, Sr., 79, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Mr. Ellison was born on October 3, 1928 to parents James and Halie Ellison in Camden County, GA. He was of the Baptist faith and he honorably served his country in The United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Morris moved to the Green Cove Springs area in 1968 from Duval County. He worked as an automobile mechanic and also as a farmer. Mr. Ellison enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, but above all, he loved his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty four years, Marilee Ellison; one son, Ed Ellison (Kim); three daughters, Sandy White (Jim), Cindy Kaczmar (Steve), and Mary Lois Padgett (David, predeceased) all of Green Cove Springs; three brothers; six sisters; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at Russell Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 11:00 am officiated by Reverend Jim White.
