James "Jimmy" Palmer Mattox, II

James “Jimmy” Palmer Mattox, II, 80, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012. He was born on October 11, 1932 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, James Palmer and Arlene Garrett Mattox, I. Jimmy was a actor /entertainer who loved to perform. He loved to sign Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra songs. He also enjoyed playing golf and watching football. Jimmy also was a member of the Alcoholics Anonymous in Jacksonville on Hubbard Street. Survivors include his Mother, Arlene Garrett; wife, Helen Mattox; Children, Vickie O’Hara and John Mattox; sister, Sarah (Jim) Riggins; Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Steven Duval Apartments 601 N. Ocean Street Jacksonville, FL.
