Oscar Viegelmann

Oscar Viegelmann, 89, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008. He was born on July 23, 1918 to parents Kurt and Marianne Viegelmann in Springfield, NY. Mr. Viegelmann served his country as a communications chief in The United States Navy and was a World War II and Korean War veteran. After his military service he worked with The United States Post Office for eight years, and later worked as a Correctional Officer for Florida State Prison in Raiford, FL. Oscar was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ethel Viegelmann in August 2006. He is survived by his nephew, Ralph Viegelmann and his family in North Carolina.
