Norma Jean Farrow Bernard, 82, was a long time residence of Clay County, FL, and passed away on December 7, 2012. She was born on June 16, 1930 to parents, Charles L. Farrow and Elizabeth Benkert Kimble in Portsmouth, Ohio, and was a Christian by faith. She fell in love with her late husband, James A. Bernard and got married on January 21, 1956. She loved her grandchildren and her work with all her heart. She enjoyed sunflowers, dogs, puzzles, and all things pink. She left this world with a song in her heart. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, LIC USN/ Retired James A. Bernard in 1984; sisters, Edythe Bowers and Anna Chasles; and she is survived by her daughter, Laura B. Joudi (David); sister, Doris Parson (John); grandchildren, Emilie Elizabeth Joudi Vick (Walter) and Victor Bernard Joudi; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church with Mother Celeste Tisdelle officiating, 6865 Pine Avenue Fleming Island, FL, 32003.
