Wilbur Hicks Freeman, Jr.

Wilbur Hicks Freeman, Jr., 60, of Orange Park, FL, passed away December 21, 2012. He was born on February 3, 1952 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Wilbur and Edna Freeman, Sr. Mr. Freeman had worked at Orange Park Hospital and loved to spend his time fishing, collecting pens and talking to people. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose and by his father Bobby Freeman. He is survived by his mother, Edna Freeman; son, Wilbur Freeman III “Trey” and wife Dana; grandson, Caleb Freeman; sisters, Charlene Huntley and husband Wendell and Claudia Williams and husband Roy; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Ridgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Clifford officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service time in the church. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Heartland Hospice, 8130 Baymeadows Way West, Suite 201, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
