Mark A. Chase

Mark A. Chase, 52, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in Gainesville, FL. Mark was born to Anthony Joseph and Mary Chase on January 28, 1956 in Elizabeth, NJ. He had lived in Florida for many years and moved to the Green Cove Springs community in March 2007 after living in Pennsylvania for a few years. He was a former member and deacon of Old Town Pentecostal Church in Old Town, FL He collected Indian artifacts and enjoyed fishing, science fiction, gardening, and yard work, but above all he loved spending time with his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Joseph, and by his son, James Carl Chase. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty five years, Debbie Chase; his mother, Mary Chase; two daughters, Corrine Hatfield (David) and Marilyn Dmytryk (Michael); one sister, Laura Gailey, all of Green Cove Springs; and seven grandchildren: Hope and Michael Dmytryk and David, Brittanea, Brandie, Katlyn, and Brandon Hatfield. Memorial services will be held at Russell Baptist Church on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 12:00 pm officiated by Reverend Ron Baker.
