JoAnn Skinner Harper

JoAnn Skinner Harper, 82, of Middleburg, FL, passed away on January 5, 2013. She was born to parents, Oliver and Odessa Skinner on September 8, 1930 in Williston, FL and was a Methodist by faith. JoAnn moved from Jacksonville, FL to Middleburg, FL, where she was a 50 year resident. She was very active in her church where she was treasurer and a member of the United Methodist Women. JoAnn was in charge of the arts and crafts with the Clay County Agricultural Fair and she loved cooking as well as her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and she is survived by her loving husband, Charlie M. Harper; sisters, Katherine Goins (John) and Patricia Scheid (Leonard); nephews, Stephen Scheid and Matthew Scheid and nieces, Deborah Nemeth (Joe) and Frances JoAnn Schwinn (Bill). Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 11 am in the Middleburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Bryan Simpson officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.broadusraines.com.
