James David Baxley

James David Baxley, 77, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008. He was born on October 18, 1930 in Middleburg, FL to parents, Obie and Pauline Baxley. Mr. Baxley had served his country in the United States Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked as a truck driver and a mechanic. Mr. Baxley was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doris Baxley Clark. Survivors include his wife, Ila Baxley of SC; step-daughter, Donna Marr of SC; step-sons, Michael and Dell Williams, both of SC; nieces, Levonne (Paulette) Slezak; Susan Register of Nashville, TN, Brenda Gonzalez of Nashville, TN and Deborah Sampson of Zephyrhills, FL and nephew, Larry Beaver of Zephyrhills, FL as well as many cousins and close friends.
