Raymond Walter Chapin, III, 69, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013. He was born on December 9, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Chapin was a ship rigger and was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of Middleburg Masonic Lodge 107, F & AM and a past member of the Shrine Club. He enjoyed wood working, NASCAR, watching NCIS on TV and Gator football. Mr. Chapin loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Dale Chapin, whom he married on September 27, 1960; children, Raymond W. Chapin, IV (Tanya), Chris Chapin, Lynn Buenvenida and Alissa Hansen; grandchildren, Paul Riddle (Brandi), Michael Buenvenida (Jennifer), Dana Hansen, Cate Hansen and MJ Riddle; great-grandchildren, Brayden Riddle, Raul, Owen and Elijah Buenvenida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 25, 2013 at Middleburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Bryan Simpson and Rev. Rex Lindemood officiating.
