Daniel Charles Pike Jr.

On 01-28-13, at the age of 64, Dan Pike, Jr., entered Heaven after suffering a heart attack at his Florida home. He is survived by his wife, Linda, three step children, his nine siblings and many close relatives and friends. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan (Betty) Pike, Sr., Dan Jr. was born in upstate New York, second eldest of ten children. The family later moved to Louisville, Georgia, where Dan graduated with honor from Louisville Academy in 1966. Dan's great musical talent was evident from his earliest years. He became an excellent, classical pianist and studied music at Oral Roberts University. Through the years, he played piano for various churches that he attended and used his music ministry to glorify God. Dan will be remembered for his quick smile, his hearty laugh, and his strong Christian convictions, which were the core of his life. There will be a private graveside service held in Jacksonville, Florida, where Dan will be buried with honors for his prior military service.
