William F. Goodermote, Sr.

William F. Goodermote, Sr., 74, of Orange Park, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. He was born in North Adams, Mass. on December 14, 1933, the son of the late William and Roseanna Goodermote. He was the husband of the late Dorothea (Jensen) Goodermote and he leaves behind five children. William and Regina Goodermote of Troy, NY, Judy and Arthur Goodness of Orange Park, FL, Danny and Melanie Goodermote of Orange Park, FL, Scott Goodermote of Middleburg, FL and Brad and Jennifer Goodermote of Jacksonville Beach, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as one brother, I. Henry Goodermote of Stanford, VT; two sisters, Mary L. Wendling of Pittsfield, Mass. and Janice Boucher of Westminister, CA and the late Florence Tonge of California. He retired from Vac-Con Company of Green Cove Springs, FL and was a member of the Fleming Island United Methodist Church and the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1892 in Green Cove Springs. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his children. He will be laid to rest with his wife in Troy, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to N.E.
