Dorothy Wallace

Dorothy Wallace, of Orange Park, FL, passed away February 3, 2013 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 92. She was born to Andrew and Anna Hemzik on May 8, 1920 in Binghamton, New York. Dorothy married John R. Wallace on July 3, 1943. They had 4 children, Wendy, Bonnie, Ronald and John. She worked many different jobs but loved being a homemaker and mother the best. Dorothy became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when she joined Palm Beach Gardens, FL Chapter #1471 on December 13, 1983. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on January 1, 1986. Dorothy sponsored 27 members in her lifetime. She and husband John came to Moosehaven on June 24, 2008 where she has lived for 4 years. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2009. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. She is survived by daughters, Wendy (Rocco) Catucci of Orange Park, FL, Bonnie Tomecek of Binghamton, NY; sons, Ronald Wallace of Vero Beach, FL and John Wallace of Melbourne, FL.
