Ray W. Casleton

Ray W. Casleton, 77, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008. He was born on October 18, 1930 in Elkville, IL to parents, Hiram and Dora Casleton. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and served his country during the Korean and Vietnam War. He was a member of Harbor Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL and will be dearly missed by his family and friends whom he loved dearly. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Marlene M. Casleton; children, Dawn Cannon of Orange Park, FL, Karen Murphy (Arthur) of Orange Park, FL, Lisa Love (Joe) of St. Augustine, FL and Chris Casleton (Cathy) of Middleburg, FL; brothers, Harold Casleton (Doris) and Jeff Casleton (Jan); sister, Marceline Carlock (Bob); and 9 grandchildren, John Joseph, Jeff, Aaron, Bradley, Evan, Ian, Amanda, Christian and Andrew. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Harbor Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Jewell officiating. Full military honors will be given at the church service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast FL, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
