William L. Huether, Jr. 75, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2013 He was born in Altoona, Pa. on October 21, 1937 to William L. Huether and Catherine Dillon Huether. After his mother's death in 1942, he was raised by his father and step-mother, Helen Delozier Huether. He graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1955 and from Williamson School in 1958. His profession was a steam and gas turbine service engineer. He worked for 2 Turbine manufacturers and also for 20 years, owned his own consulting engineering business. He enjoyed racing, hunting, firearms, motorcycles and most of all, being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy, 2 daughters, Catherine Huether of Orange Park, Fl. and Susan (David) Hatcher of Middleburg, Fl., 1 son, Dr. William L. (Kimberly) Huether, III of Heathrow, Fl. Grandchildren, John, Joshua and Jacob Moore, Katherine, Kristen, William, IV, and Sarah Huether. 2 step-grandchildren, David and Derek Hatcher. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Nancy) Huether of Duncansville, Pa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.At his request, there is no viewing or services.
