Edna Reva Mae Peavy

Edna Reva Mae Peavy, 79, of Bostwick, FL, passed away at her home on February 20, 2013. She was born in Lexington, KY on November 12, 1933 to parents William and Gracie Massengill Davis. She had resided in the area for over 50 years and was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Peavy was an Honorary Member of the Jacksonville Garden Club Montbretia Circle and a member of the Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her parents; granddaughter, Victoria Arnold; brother, Rev. Rufus “Buster” Davis; half-brothers and sisters, Claude, Jessie, Dolly, Louise, Lillian, Lena, Laura and Frank. Mrs. Peavy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ralph R. Peavy; son, Terry (Susan) Arnold; daughter, Sherry (Rodney) Mosley; grandchildren, Gail Hancock, Kristi Shover, Terry Dewayne Arnold, Jr, William Arnold, Katelyn Arnold, Hannah Arnold, Angela Arnold and Tracy Turner; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Jackson and Mattie Hancock, Logan Shover, Riley, Lilly, Aiden and AvaMarie Arnold; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 25, 2013 at Russell Baptist Church with Reverend Ron Baker officiating.
