Clauson Manning, 78, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008. He was born on December 19, 1929 in Highland, FL to parents, Sam and Fanny Manning. He married Illa Mae Johns Manning on April 9, 1952. Mr. Manning retired from Gustafson Dairy and attended the Clay Hill Church of God of Prophecy and he had a gift of gardening and a love for his cracklins. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Illa Mae Manning and by two children, Janice and Buddy Manning. Survivors include his children, Joanne Voss (Gerald), Sue Johns (Gordon) and Windel Manning (Kathy); 8 grandchildren, Tonya (Shane), Jennifer (Travis), James (Denise), Justin (Tina), Michael (Heather), Melissa (Brian), Crystal (Kevin) and Heather; 14 great-grandchildren, Shane Jr., Rob, Amanda, Jorden, Jaden, Mason, Abbigail, Olivia, Travis, Tra, Victoria, Kevin, Jr., Mariah and Lile; and also a special mention to Wanda and Cindy and many, many other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Clay Hill Church of God of Prophecy, 5845 County Road 218. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the church with Bishop Billy R. Canterbury officiating. Interment will follow in Long Branch Cemetery.
