Luca E. Prosseda

Luca E. Prosseda, 80, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on February 25, 2008 at Kindred Hospital, Green Cove Springs, FL. He was born February 24, 1928 in Milton, PA son of the late Laura Riva nd Gelasio Prosseda. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothea Arner to whom he was married on November 26, 1999. He is also survived by his daughter, Sharon Prosseda Angus-Smith of Landsdowne, PA; two sons, Bruce Prosseda of Aston, PA and Philip Drew Prosseda of Boulder, CO; two granddaughters; two brothers, Saturno Prosseda of Milton, PA and Ernesto Prosseda of Berwick, PA; and one sister, Thomasina Mulkeen of Morgantown, WV. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Prosseda; and three brothers, John, Joseph, and Albert Prosseda. Mr. Prosseda graduated from Milton High School in 1946 and attended The University of Hawaii; Los Angeles Community College; and Indian County Community College. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force from June 1946 until June 1949. He was self-employed in sales and product design in an aluminum manufacturing business in Philadelphia, and as a set builder for movies, theater, TV, and commercials in Los Angeles, CA where he retired in 1995. Mr. Prosseda and his wife, Dorothea resided in Hobe Sound, FL from February 1997 to October 2002 when they moved to Palm Coast, FL. In his retirement years, Mr. Prosseda was an avid photographer and held the office of treasurer of the Homeowners’ Association, Inc. in the development of Sugar Pines, Hobe Sound.
