Alicia Fletcher Grey

Alicia Fletcher Grey, 78, of Starke, FL and formerly of Winchester, VA, passed away March 17, 2013 in Starke, FL. She was born March 5, 1935 in Irwin County, GA to parents William George Fletcher and Kate Elizabeth Smith. She had graduated from Warren County High School in 1953, had moved to Green Cove Springs, FL in 1984 from Winchester and was a bookkeeper at Mayhugh's Drug Store. She was a member of the West Jacksonville Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Grey was predeceased by her parents; a son, Ernest “Lee” Henry; and a brother, William Dwayne Fletcher. Survivors include daughters, Katrina L. (Tom) Roberts of Starke, FL and Sarita Binsted of Haymarket, VA; son, Earlie V. (Jessica) Henry of Winchester, VA; sister, Celena (Gordon) Beatty of Ormond Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Janice Fletcher of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Brian Binsted, Matthew (Christina) Dunlap and Lee Henry; great-grandchildren, Logan and Connor Dunlap and Marc and Masen Phillips; numerous nieces and nephews and many “adopted” children. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Fletcher Cemetery in Chula, GA with Elder Gordon Smith officiating.
