Louetta Lester

Mrs. Louetta Lester, 93, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008. She was born on May 1, 1914 in Campbell County, TN to parents, Fred and Frances Smiddy. She was a homemaker and was a member of Orange Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed needlework and spending time with her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Lloyd Lester. Survivors include her children, Joyce Goodrich (Irvin) of Green Cove Springs, FL, Betty Bartle (Gene) of Lawrenceville, IL and Ruth Hughes (LaMont) of Union, OH; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Final services and interment will take place in LaFollette, TN under the direction of Cross Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or the American Heart Association (www.americanheart.org).
