Larry A. Brown

Larry A. Brown, 59, of Hastings, FL, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008. He was born on January 22, 1949 in Jonesboro, AR to parents, Joe and Zula Brown. Mr. Brown was a car hauler and was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving his country in the United States Navy. He attended New Life Christian Assembly in St. Augustine, FL and loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Brown will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his son, Joshua Lee Brown of Green Cove Springs, FL; daughters, Molly A. Smith (Shawn) of Green Cove Springs, FL and Mendy Hudson of Jacksonville, FL; former wife, Ruth Thompson of Green Cove Springs, FL; brothers, John Wayne, Jimmy Dale and Michael Lynn; sisters, Linda Sue, Marilyn Faye and Jenny Ruth; and grandchildren, Amber Shedd, Julie Mae Brown and Olivia Smith. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at New Life Christian Assembly, 575 Big Oak Rd., St. Augustine, FL 32095 with Reverend Tim Hudnall officiating. Military honors will be given at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family would be kindly accepted.
