David E. Wilson, 80, of Orange Park, FL passed away April 11, 2013. He was born in Offerman, GA on February 28, 1933 to parents Olin and Ruby Wasdin Wilson. He was a Master Woodworker and a former baseball coach. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was predeceased by his parents. Survivors include his beloved wife, Donell Wilson; 10 loving children, John Joyce, Cyndie Wilson, Michael Wilson, Christy Rooney, Edward Hughes, Derrick Hughes, Michael Hughes, Marlene Crews, Stephen Hughes and David Hughes and 27 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 461 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073. Bishop Jonathan D. Crews will preside. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Wilson will be buried at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
