Russell David McQueen, 62, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away April 12, 2013. He was born on March 11, 1951 in Dover Town, NJ to parents Russell and Mavis McQueen. Mr. McQueen retired from the U.S. Navy after completing 23 years of service, retiring as an Aviation Supply Senior Chief Petty Officer. Following his military service he worked for AAR Defense Systems Logistics as a Warehouse Operations Manager/Business Analyst. He was a highly avid Yankees and Giants Fan who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Mr. McQueen was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Holly L. McQueen; children, Jennifer Siu (Doug), Allison Romm (Miles) and Ashley Judson and grandsons, Kai’nalu and Parker. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with The Reverend Celeste R. Tisdelle officiating. Inurnment will take place at 10:00 am Monday, May 6, 2013 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors.
