Effie Mae (Murrhee) Schlemlein

Effie Mae (Murrhee) Schlemlein went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2013. She was born on August 7, 1926 to Charles and Mary (Scaff) Murrhee. Mrs. Schlemlein was a lifelong resident of Clay County and resided in Green Cove Springs. She raised five children and was a homemaker. As her younger children got older, she went to work for Clay County as a school bus driver and as an aide/driver for handicap children. She dearly loved her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and stubborn streak. “Momma you will be truly missed. Love you always.” She is survived by her children, daughter Mary Schlemlein (Joe), son Robert “Bobby” Schlemlein (Stephanie), son Ronald Anderson Sr. (Joy) and son Willie “Skeeter” Anderson. She is also survived by grandchildren, David Kling (Kathy), Ron Anderson Jr., Ryan Anderson, Casey Anderson, Keli Schlemlein and Kati Schlemlein and by great-grandchildren Cody, Dalton, Miranda and Bryce. Other survivors include her first cousin, Doris Eschuk, Martha Harris, who she always thought of as a daughter, a dear friend Jackie Moore, and many other family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert R. Schlemlein, her parents Charles and Mary Murrhee, her son Charles Anderson and her brother Kenneth Murrhee. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Sunday, April 21, 2013 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday April 22, 2013 at Penney Farms Cemetery in Penney Farms, FL with Reverend Joe Barrie officiating.
