Jim passed away April 28, 2013 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 86. He was born to James and Sucile Lupo on January 24, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland. Jim served in the Navy from May 1944 until November 1947. He received a World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Area Medal and a Philippine Liberation Medal. Jim worked as a salesman for Town and Country Nissan retiring in 1992. He loved to fish, boat and play cards. Jim became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in 1973 when he joined the Edgemere, Maryland Lodge #537. Jim came to Moosehaven on March 31, 2004 where he resided for 9 years. He will be laid to rest in Baltimore, Maryland. A private service will be at the family’s discretion. Jim is survived by his sister Marietta Hemphill. His sons, James and Daniel Lupo, his daughter Kim Alianello also Debbie Bosak, Dwayne and Dave Biles. Fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Doris Biles his wife, sisters Grace Chilcote and Helen Squiller, brothers Robert, Richard and Homer Lupo. Daughter Beverly Soridy and Darvin Biles.
