David Rex Coldren

David Coldren December 13, 1938 – May 5, 2013 David passed away May 5, 2013 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 74. He was born to Rex and Helen (Stackhouse) Coldren on December 13, 1938 in Findlay, Ohio. David served in the U.S. Army Reserve from April 24, 1962 -January 18, 1968. He enjoyed his work as a Captain of an Ocean Tug for Tidewater Marine Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 2001. David became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on October 4, 1994 when he joined Fort Myers Beach, Florida Lodge #964. He came to Moosehaven on September 22, 2011 where he resided for 1 ½ years. David will be laid to rest in Findlay, Ohio. A private service will be at the family’s discretion. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Curry of Copley, Ohio. . Arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL (904) 284-4000.
