Audrey Wilson November 20, 1925 – May 6, 2013 Audrey passed away May 6, 2013 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 87. She was born to Edward and Genevieve Anderson on November 20, 1925 in Jamestown, New York where she grew up. Audrey was the oldest of four girls. Audrey met Luther in 1945, and the two were married in Jamestown on September 6, 1947. They had two daughters, Brenda and Karen. In 1950 they moved to New York where they lived until moving to North East, PA in the early 1970’s. Audrey worked for K-Mart Department Store for 22 years where she was a store clerk and head cashier. She retired 1988. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in 1973 when she joined the Northeast, Pennsylvania Chapter #2191. She and Luther enjoyed traveling to all the States and Canada over the years. They enjoyed their many vacations with their daughters in their younger days. Audrey was fulfilled being a wife and mother. Luther and Audrey came to Moosehaven on November 19, 2001 where she resided for 11 years. Audrey enjoyed making rugs, needlework, and embroidery. Audrey liked to stay busy so after coming to Moosehaven she continued her skills as a store clerk working in our General Store for almost 7 years. Audrey had a smile that captured the hearts of all who knew her. She had a very quiet and gentle spirit. She is survived by her husband, Luther Wilson of Moosehaven, her daughters, Brenda Wynkoop of Erie, PA and Karen (Lynn) Kauppi of Phoenix, AZ, grandson Christopher Kauppi of Mesa, AZ and one sister, Virginia Nielson of Rochester, NY. Audrey will be laid to rest in the Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida on Monday May 13, 2013 at 1:30 PM. Arrangements under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
