Timothy King Thomas

Timothy King Thomas, age 47, a 30 year resident of Amelia Island Care Center, Fernandina Beach, Florida, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 30, 2008. He was born July 26, 1960, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late King I. and Mary E. Thomas. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters; most recently his sister, Floy Marie Cornwall. Tim is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Jarvis (Jim), Green Cove Springs, Susan Hudgins (Howard), Jacksonville, Hazel Smith (Joe), Yulee, Elaine Thomas, Fort Lauderdale; his brother, Patrick Thomas (Annette [his favorite sister-in-law]), Orange Park; special brother-in-law, Michael Cornwall (Kim), Green Cove Springs; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008. Deacon Jack Baker will conduct the service. Interment will be at Hunt Cemetery, Dukes, FL. A memorial service will be held at the Amelia Island Care Center, Fernandina Beach, Florida on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 3:00 pm.
