Phillip Edward Knowles

Phillip Edward Knowles, 65, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, March 31, 2008. Phillip was born to parents Arthur and Edith Knowles on June 29, 1942 in Green Cove Springs and was a lifelong resident of the area. Phillip was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susie White. Survivors include his wife, Manoli Knowles; seven children: Pam Hazlewood of Green Cove Springs, Shelly Knowles of Jacksonville, Richie Knowles and Lisa Carlson (David) of Green Cove Springs, Millie Thrasher (John) of Orange Park, Christina Cassidy of Green Cove Springs, and Richard Cassidy (Tracy) of Kansas City; two brothers: Johnny Knowles (Joyce) and Eugene Knowles (Linda) of Green Cove Springs; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11:00 am officiated by Reverend Ronnie Surrency.
