Robert Hamilton Ruth

Robert Hamilton Ruth, 83, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on May 29, 2013. Robert was born in Baynesville, Maryland on January 23, 1930. Robert worked as an Insurance Executive for Marsh McLennan Companies where he retired in 1995. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Ruth, his brother Hamilton David Ruth III and wife Karin Ruth of Sarasota, Fl. Children Barbara Papas of Crestview Hills, Kentucky; Robert H. and Laurie Ruth of Wakefield, Rhode Island; Jeff and Nancy McComas of Orlando, Florida; Grandchildren Nicholas Papas, Michelle Papas, Meghan McComas and Colin McComas. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Hamilton David Ruth Jr. and Clara Blakley Ruth; Sister Dorothy and husband William Weigand. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The National Parkinson Foundation. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island with Fr. Donal Sullivan as Celebrant.
