Louise Frances Crockford

Louise Frances Crockford, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008. She was born to James and Ella Powers on July 31, 1923 in Boston, MA and lived to the age of 84. She married Mr. Roy Crockford on June 21, 1944 in Beaufort, NC and they had one daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Smithers of Jacksonville, FL. Louise became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when she joined Pembroke, FL Chapter #1056 on September 4, 1991. She came to Moosehaven on April 4, 2007 where she resided for almost 1 year. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Smithers (Jim); two grandchildren, Stephen and Christian Smithers and great grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Mia and Ava Smithers. Memorial Services held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. in the Moosehaven Chapel officiated by Father Daniel Cody and Officers of Opportunity Chapter. Inurnment will follow in the Moosehaven Mausoleum. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL (904) 284-4000.
