Barbara Ann Schiffer

Mrs. Barbara Ann Schiffer, 75, of Orange Park, FL, formerly of Chauncy, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted mother, military wife, and friend. Barbara was loved by her family and cherished for her devotion to creating a loving home for her children. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Eugene Schiffer; sons, Michael (wife Rhonda), Keith (wife Anne), Steven (wife Amy) Schiffer; and Christopher Ingram; daughter Patricia (husband Scott) Ives; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Francis (wife Patti) Graham and Doug (wife Donna) Graham; brother’s-in-law, The Rev. James Schiffer and Eugene (wife Alice) Schiffer and numerous extended family. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Wednesday evening, July 3, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL with The Rev. James Schiffer as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
